It feels like forever since we left our home together and moved in with the parents. I'm sure you can all imagine how hard it is to go from being "just the two of you" to suddenly living in someone else's home. The past three months have been incredibly hard at times, but finally we are moving on. There is light at the end of the tunnel...
That isn't to say that there haven't been good times here. There are, in fact, many things I will miss, such as spending time with Tim's mum, getting to know her much better, and being able to spoil our niece with evening walks along a farm track and someone to watch HSM with. But, as with all things in life, the good are balanced with the bad and the bad with the good and the move back into our own home will bring us the chance to start afresh and continue creating the life that we want to enjoy together.
So, this next week will be full of packing the few bits we have "unpacked" since being in our temporary home, digging out all the boxes from Tim's parents' shed and arranging for all the things one needs in a new home - gas, electricity, phone, internet, food... (not in that order, of course!)
The big move is next weekend, so you have another week of daily posts and then I will leave you with some "pre-written" posts for the week beginning 14th June as I do not know how long it will take to get our internet connection sorted. I will be back as soon as possible with updates from our new home and changes to the shop. But for now, the big move looms and I must start packing.
