If you've been reading my posts this week, you will have realised that I have a long list of decorations I still have to make for our wedding in October. I have bunting to sew, table names to paint, a seating plan to design, decorations for the walls to choose... the list goes on. And whilst this is ridiculously exciting for me, it is also very time consuming!
Which is where you come in...
Are you an avid crocheter who would enjoy crocheting some hearts in autumn (fall) colours that I can string around the venue and alternate with my fabric triangle bunting? I have had a few friends, all of whom I've met online, who have offered to help with our wedding decorations and I am overjoyed by the beautiful gesture. I'm putting up the link to The Royal Sisters tutorial for granny hearts for anyone who would care to join me in creating some of these most gorgeous little hearts.
But, I hear you avid and most generous readers say, what if you cannot crochet? Well, I have another little trick up my sleeve, if you would like to take part in this "craft along".
I just came across this idea this morning and would love to have some paper leaves strung around the place to complete the look, but that is an awful lot of cutting for one person. So, if you fancy have a go and can pop a few in the post, I would be overwhelmed by the love :) Find the idea here
Now, I really must run as I have a million things to do: I am editing the first 8 chapters of my novel (43,000 and counting) alongside the usual housework, the special wedding planning, and fighting the lure of Breaking Dawn that I could quite happily read straight through from start to finish if it weren't for needing to sleep, eat and get things done!
So, have a lovely day and I hope to see you all here again tomorrow xx
p.s. you can tell how "multi-tasking" I am by the amount of tabs I have open on the screenshots I took, I completely forgot to open a new window to take the screenshots, so you have a little look here into the crazy world of Amanda and the internet!
You think that's a lot of tabs? Ha! I have ::counts:: 19 (yes, NINETEEN) tabs open! I know, I know, it's far too many, but it's a good reminder of what I need to be doing :) Will see what I can do about getting hold of some paper and choppng up some leaves for you as I'm hopeless at crochet. Drop me your address in an email (marchpane_001@yahoo.com) and I'll try and get some over to you before the end of September.
